Brain Bites, An Interactive Experience to Promote Discipline and Healthy Habits for Kids

This is a portfolio project that I created in my sophomore year at Tufts in the course ENP64: Methods for Human Factors Engineering.

The assignment was to develop a product designed for use by or with a young child. As part of the product, a 3D CAD drawing of the design and a phone-based app that includes instructions for use were required.

The above presentation includes:

  • Project overview

  • User research

  • Anthropometry analysis

  • Competitive analysis

  • Paper wireframes (Notability)

  • Caretaker's high-fidelity prototype (Figma)

  • Child's high-fidelity prototype (Figma)

  • Physical product CAD model (Solidworks)

  • Usability testing

  • Accessibility considerations

  • Takeaways and next steps

Access the high-fidelity prototype on slides 23 and 24
